Program Eligibility
To be eligible for AAG J-1 Work & Travel Program, you must:
Be currently enrolled as a full-time at an accredited university or a state-recognized institution of post-secondary education in your home country outside of United States. Students in final year of studies are generally not eligible for this program, though they may be accepted in some countries. Gap year students or high school graduates are not eligible for this program.
Be from 18 to 30 years old
Be able to function in an English-speaking work environment with at least an intermediate level of English
Have a minimum of USD500 available in order to support yourself upon arrival in the United States
Be able to prove that you will return home at the end of the program by showing ties to your home country.
