About This Program
Spain knows food! The culinary landscape of Spain is as rich and varied as the country itself, with world-class restaurants throughout the country, each region is famous for its own unique food scene. Spain’s varied landscapes, from beaches to mountains, allow for many different food trends, favorite regional cooking traditions, and distinct flavors. Spain is a country that excels in blending established traditional cooking methods with new culinary concepts, it is a country known for its love of great food and culinary excellence.
Spanish chefs are happy to share their knowledge with each other while also vying to surprise one another with new approaches to old favorites. This blending of tradition with surprise has given rise to spectacular culinary concepts that have taken the food world by storm. A culinary training program in Spain will introduce you to a world of techniques and flavors that could never have been imagined outside of a Spanish kitchen.
What will I be doing?
Based on your qualifications and prior work experience, you will be placed in one of the high-end, luxury resorts, 4 and 5-star hotels, or popular bars and restaurants throughout Spain. We work closely with all our Host Employers to ensure the best possible experience. Most of the positions are within the hospitality restaurant field and include:
- Chef de Parties
- Sous Chef
- Food and Beverage Managers
- Restaurant Managers

There is a 6 month maximum
Professional internships in Spain’s hospitality sector are usually paid. Accommodations and meals are generally provided. Typically there is a stipend of about 300 EURO a month.
However, depending on your CV, your field of internship, and program duration, monetary compensation might be different. We will work with you to ensure you understand exactly how much you will be earning and exactly what your living expenses will be.
Many positions offer housing, but some do not. We will always provide you with viable housing options that are affordable and a reasonable distance from your worksite.
