Program Expectations and Eligibility:
It all starts with a simple step!
Filling the application form
, which will take you through some basic questions to pre-assess your eligibility. Once we receive it, we will invite you for a quick call to talk and make sure this is a good option for you! We will discuss what you would like to get out of this experience and ensure you are eligible for the program based on the current regulations. We will also assess your English level to ensure suitability.
There are certain documents we have to collect as part of your application to the program. We’ll walk you through what is needed and give you access to our online application system so you can begin to complete the information.
We will support you through the interview and placement process to find the best opportunity for your program. We have a variety of placements to choose from depending on your career field and any other factors important to you (type of company, rate of pay, location, etc.) All of our placements offers are paid.
If you have identified your own placement
, we will review the offer and assist you with the necessary paperwork. All placements require a detailed and signed Training Plan.
Once your application is complete and host company placement secured, we will provide you with the required paperwork needed for your J-1 visa appointment.
You can request your J-1 visa appointment with your local U.S. Embassy or Consulate once you receive your DS-2019 and signed Training/Internship Placement Plan. This typically requires a fee of $160 for the appointment.
Arrival to the U.S.!
We provide the necessary help and support prior to your arrival to the U.S. to ensure your program gets off to a great start. Once here, we have a team dedicated to answering questions and providing help when needed 24-7.
As this is an exchange program, you are expected to go back home once your program is completed. You will be given a 30 day period to after your last day to complete all necessary processes and report back home.
