H-2B Seasonal Work Program
- Up to 9 months (one time) or up to 3 years with visa extensions
The H-2B visa program enables foreign workers from eligible countries to come to the USA for seasonal jobs. Alliance Abroad partners with luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, amusement parks, pools and country clubs across the United States, providing hundreds of job opportunities during the summer and winter seasons.
The best parts?
- The employer pays for your program fee, travel, and visa expenses.
- After your program ends and you return home, you can re-apply again indefinitely, as long as you continue to be visa approved and your previous program was in good standing.
- With the help of Alliance Abroad, you can also decide to stay in the USA for up to 3 years, through visa extensions/new seasonal jobs (subject to jobs inventory and your eligibility).

Fees &
Eligibility
There is no program fee to participate in the H-2B program.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a Passport valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in the United States (unless exempt by country-specific agreements)
- Have a level of English sufficient for the position. English needed ranges from basic to advanced depending on the job requirement.
- Must be available to start working from April 1st, 2024.

Step 2
Interview with an Employer
Participate in one or several employer interviews to find your perfect match.
Step 3
Complete Your Application
If you’re hired, congrats! Now, you’ll need to submit the complete application documentation according to the paperwork deadlines.
Step 4
Apply for the H-2B visa
Alliance Abroad will advise you on when to apply for your H-2B visa, in some cases, will schedule the visa appointment for you.
Step 5
Start Planning Your Trip
Once your visa is approved, Alliance Abroad and/or your employer will take care of your travel arrangements.
