My most rewarding experience this month was simple but meaningful: taking the local bus alone for the first time to go shopping.
It felt like a small adventure. I had to pay close attention to the stops and even ask for directions, which gave me a great opportunity to practice my English with the locals. Arriving at my destination on my own gave me a tremendous sense of independence and confidence. It was more than just a trip to the store—it was a life lesson in adapting to a new country and a rewarding step toward feeling more at home here.
