On average, the application and placement process takes at least two months, not including potential wait times for visa appointments at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your country.

Will I earn enough money to cover my expenses?

Yes. If you budget wisely, you should earn enough money to cover your rent and living expenses while in the U.S. We look at the rates of pay and housing costs when approving host employers to ensure participants can afford the local cost of living. Second jobs are also allowed with permission on the program. Participating in work travel USA gives you the chance to earn, explore, and enjoy life in America while staying financially secure.
